Write on Irish Girls Forum for writers and readers

Hi Everyone!
I've built a new dedicated forum for our write-on site, so that it has its own domain name. It'll make it easier for people to find us, and also, the way the web is going, I'd feel more comfortable to have full control of the archived posts. (with the current board, for example, although I can access old posts, and we can read them and even edit them, we can't move them. There are other technical reasons, but I won't go into them.)
I'll leave the old forum active for a while but then I'll block new posts and only allow reading of the old posts.
Any suggestions of boards you'd like to see included- let me know.
Also, once you're re-joined at this site- PM or e-mail me and I'll re-set any moderators to you previous status.

Yeah I can imagine. It's not easy starting a site off from scratch again. Still it will be worth it in the end and the way we all talk on here it wont be long before this place feels like home.

I've just been having a look around the board and there are lots of lovely new features to play around with including the personal notepad (which I'm sure will come in handy for keeping a list of all those 'to read' books), the quick edit function along with the view new posts etc. Ooh and I love the fact that search engines now show up as GoogleBots etc because now we'll know who are real guests and who aren't. Fab!
