Write on Irish Girls Forum for writers and readers

Hello everyone,
I was delighted when I came across this site as it seems to have a wonderful combination of those with publishing experience and newbies like myself.
I am 45(Just!) years old and I have two boys aged 7 & 4. I live in Co. Clare with my husband of almost 16 years. I am an avid reader and have always enjoyed writting. Last year during the Summer I started on a novel and then I treated myself to two creative writting courses. I think after so many years of putting a husband and children first I decided it was time for me to put some time into myself. I am so glad that I did! About two months ago, after reading tips on Authors websites I realised that I needed to dedicate more time for my writting, so 5 days a week I get up between 6-6.30am and write for at least an hour before I get changed to go to work.
I lived in the States for 17 years and moved back here 3 years ago and I love it!

It's great to find somewhere that I can talk about and interact about writing and doesn't end with sighs or eyes being raised to heaven with a "Oh here she goes again"!

Thanks to everyone for your welcomes. I would love to read some of your work as well. Where do I look on this site for others work and could put up one if my short stories. Have to go now as my 4 year old wants to try and enter his garbbled message to you all.
